This stunning new kitchen, developed in conjunction with Realm Homes Scotland, demonstrates what can be achieved with bold design statements and striking colour choices.
The brief was to create a large, open-plan family area with lots of storage and worktop space. This was achieved by combining elements from both the Pronorm X & Y lines.
Drawers and internal mechanisms were implemented to offer flexible storage, and the niche wall boxes are a bespoke display solution with integrated ambient lighting features. These units add to the sense of openness, allowing for a more spacious feel than solid cabinet doors.
The client was drawn to deep colours with brown and grey tones. These, mixed with a warm woodgrain colour, tie in with other features throughout the house – such as the internal doors and the beautiful oak staircase in the entrance hallway.
The tall bank along the back wall contains the ovens, fridge and freezer. We designed a surrounding wooden frame to give the unit prominence in the room.
The floating step-up on the units below the window also add to the unique character of the kitchen – with the clean, straight lines creating a contemporary aesthetic which will feel fresh and current well into the future.
