Built using the sleek and streamlined Pronorm X-line, the design is detailed with black powder-coated handle-rails, black fittings, and smoked black glass on the units above the ovens – back lit with LEDs to really make a statement.
The furniture is a mix of smooth Havana Black Lacquer, with a beautifully textured Alba Black Oak finish on the breakfast bar.
This central island creates a sociable dining area within the kitchen, with velvet emerald seats creating a cosy spot to settle in for an evening of entertaining. The island also provides additional worktop space when it’s needed – and the black EVOline BackFlip socket on the surface makes it a fully flexible space, ideal for at-home working.
Striking black appliances complement the units, with a matt black tap and a 1.5 wide Blanco Silgranit sink sitting seamlessly within the worktops – which are made from veined Eternal Marquina Silestone by Cosentino.
The kitchen’s hidden boiler, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and waste bin units prove that a chic, cutting-edge kitchen can be achieved without compromise. The Bora induction hob is another excellent example of this, with integrated ventilation negating the need for a bulky extractor hood.
In addition to the abundance of practical storage throughout, the extra-tall units on the lefthand wall accentuate the grandeur of the room, while adding areas for decorative displays. Plus, with walnut chevron flooring underfoot, Chris and Paige’s kitchen is contemporary and classic – quite literally – from top to bottom.
