Emma & Craig’s stunning open-plan living area was the ideal setting for our bespoke kitchen range – Handcrafted by Palazzo.
With the large amount of floorspace, we were able to lay out the kitchen perfectly – with the island sitting prominently in front of the mantel, framed by the pantry and drinks area at the side.
The furniture is crafted from poplar wood – with solid Victorian Inset style doors, painted in Ammonite by Farrow & Ball. The drawers are solid walnut dovetail, to complement the walnut interior of the units. This is elegantly shown off in the veneer inside of the pantry/bar unit.
The aesthetic of the furniture is enhanced by tongue and groove end panels and moulded skirting detail, an extra touch of finesse. The Polished Chrome cup and knob handles by Crofts & Assinder are the finishing touch.
The granite worktops feature a special built-up edge detail on the kitchen island. This adds prominence to the island and beautifully outlines the curves of the barrel units on both ends.
Above the client’s own Rangemaster, we added an integrated canopy hood by Westin, which is built into the mantel. Other appliances in the kitchen include: a tall integrated larder fridge and freezer by Siemens, a Miele integrated dishwasher, and an under-counter single zone wine cabinet by Caple in a Stainless Steel finish.
The Shaker Double Belfast sink by Shaws has a White Ceramic finish and is accompanied by a Quooker Flex tap in Polished Chrome.
The flood of natural light in the kitchen meant this was a lovely space to work with. To make the most of it, we added Antiqued Light Mirror splashbacks with a mottled texture, which complement the colour of the worktops and reflect light back into the room.
