At Palazzo, our designers love collaborating and partnering with trusted architects and engineers, especially when a full home renovation is being undertaken.
William and Helen approached us with an idea to completely modernise and open up their kitchen space. They also desired a large functional kitchen island to be situated at the heart of their space, to suit all of their cooking, dining and socialising requirements. In answering the brief, our team devised and designed a full blue print for their kitchen and living space, with detailed drawings and multiple options for materials. Safe to say the client loved all of our suggestions and were happy to sign everything off!
Our team then got to work, stripping out the existing kitchen and taking down a wall which led into the adjacent dining room, which created the desired floor space for the kitchen island.
The Pronorm Y-Line range in striking Artstone was used for the kitchen island and glassware cabinet near the window, with the equally stunning Agate grey used for the tall units.
For colour contrast, and to provide a worktop which was both elegant and functional, we used Silestone by Cosentino in Miami White.
At the far end of the island, close to the patio, we designed and installed a large Oak Vintage dining table and built out a space for the mounted TV to provide a more seamless look and feel.
As standard with all Palazzo kitchens, exceptional appliances were integrated throughout, such as the Bora Hob, Blanco Etagon 500 sink and Quooker tap in steel.
Finally, we designed and built custom-made panelling between the windows to conceal the ducting and pipework, transforming this area into a unique feature which immediately catches the eye as you enter the space.
