For Gerard & Sandra’s new kitchen, we used our Traditional range to create a classic, elegant design – with soft grey tones, copper accents, and tranquil lighting coming together in a beautiful blend of traditional and modern.
The Smooth One-Piece Shaker Doors are painted in Farrow & Ball’s ‘Moles Breath’ and ‘Ammonite’, with the inside of the units finished off in ‘Dark Pacific Walnut’. The knob and pull handles by Crofts & Assinder are their ‘Calgary’ model, finished in ‘American Copper’.
The worktops are Dekton – an ultracompact surface material that is highly resistant to heat, scratches, and stains – in a veined ‘Aura’ colour, which is inspired by the patterns of natural Calacatta marble. The Blanco ‘Subline’ undermount sink, with a ‘White’ Silgranit finish, blends almost seamlessly into the surface.
The Glazed Porcelain ‘Nature Grey’ tile flooring by Keraben ties the colour scheme together and adds to the brightness of the space. This is further enhanced by the Smoked Grey Mirror underneath the wall units, which bounces light back into the room.
For storage, the tall larder units house a set of internal drawers next to the oven for easy access. The round breakfast bar was created with bespoke curved units to make the most of the space, while the tongue and groove end panels ensure the look is truly unique. Furthermore, the pantry unit on the back wall, with curved shelving and internal lighting, creates a bespoke bar area close to the dining table – ideal for entertaining.
The kitchen’s appliances include: a Bora induction extractor hob, a Miele integrated dishwasher, a tall integrated fridge/freezer by Siemens, a Miele single oven, and a Miele combination oven. The Blanco sink also features a Quooker Fusion Flex hot water tap in ‘Stainless Steel’ with a convenient pull-out spray hose.
This turnkey project was a delight to work on – from the preparation works and installation, through to lighting and the finishing decoration.
