Step into this trendy West End home that stole our hearts – a space loved by our client but longing for a kitchen that truly reflected their impeccable taste. With the perfect location already in hand, we embarked on a journey to transform this space into a culinary haven that would stand the test of time.
We sought to strike the perfect balance between elegance and functionality. This Rempp German kitchen features Dark slab doors and warm wood finishes, perfectly complemented by Sant Angelo granite bringing visual interest and texture while the Spekva breakfast bar with its curved edge details creates a smooth transition from kitchen to dining.
The existing Gaggenau ovens found a new home in this revamped space, seamlessly blending into the new aesthetic. A sleek new downdraft Bora hob, a striking black Quooker tap and a tall Miele push-to-open wine cabinet added the finishing touches, marrying style with practicality in perfect harmony.
A bespoke bar area was meticulously crafted into a recessed area to cater to our client’s love for entertaining, while a hidden area for the furry family member ensured that even the beloved dog had a space of their own to retreat to.
The clients decision to open up the back wall was the key to unlocking the full potential of this forever home. Extending into the garden created not just a kitchen but a seamless blend of indoor and outdoor living. A seating and dining area emerged, bathed in natural light, while a cozy office nestled in the mezzanine above, offering a retreat for work pursuits.
Our client’s discerning eye for design incorporated quirky elements such as framed New York restaurant menus from their travels, to staple pieces from designers such as Phillipe Starck and fabric wallpaper from Arte.
